I guess the language is getting a little harder but I just might be beginning to find it a bit easier to get a sense of the story without looking up so many words. I think the pP is partly upset to get the notion that his beautiful flower has developed thorns to no purpose but also by narrator talking like a big person and dismissing the problems of his planet
I think the pp is upset because the sheep is eating his flowers and the narrator is upset because he can't get the plane repaired because the bolt won't fit even when he uses his hammer.
Are you finding this chapter harder or easier than the other chapters?
